Linton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. His educational background includes two advanced degrees from Liberty University (Human Service Executive Leadership as well as MA in Professional Counseling). He an EMDR trained clinician, Certified Life Coach, Personal Trainer, and a proud HBCU graduate of Florida Memorial University with an undergraduate degree in Communications & Public Relations. He has facilitated workshops with Savannah State University, shared forums on systemic racism, microaggressions, cultural competence with the famous Jane Elliott, Internationally teacher, lecturer, diversity trainer and National Mental Health and adaptor of the famous "Blue eyes & Brown eyes controversy.
Linton's field experience is an amalgamation of more than six years of field experience in treating patients and clients who have all battled with life's challenges. These settings include in-patient acute care for adults battling drug & alcohol, comorbidity, mental health disorders, emotional and psychological disturbances. He has given his passion to the youth in acute and sub-acute settings of working with victims of abuse, secondary trauma (domestic violence), neglect, self-harm, identity ambiguity.
Linton works in collaboration with local schools, DJJ (Department of Juvenile Justice), DFCS (Department of Families & Children Services), Community Partners (Referrals) and other human services. When he is not engaging in clinical work, he asserts equal passion into combating social injustice, reading, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and twin boys.
